Berlin Kreuzberg

Berlin-Kreuzberg

Once enclosed on three sides by the Berlin wall, Kreuzberg is now undoubtedly one of Berlin’s trendiest neighbourhoods and the most sought-after location for those who enjoy a lively lifestyle.

South of Mitte, the district boasts both the beautiful Paul-Linke and Maybach canals and is internationally known for its lively markets, relaxed cafés, trendy boutiques, excellent cocktail bars, popular night clubs, and many more recreational activities. The banks of the canals also provide many perfect spots to relax in the sun and take a break from the bustle of city life.

Kreuzberg is vibrant and international – something abundantly clear to anyone who takes a walk through its energetic streets. Living in the area you’ll become part of an eclectic mix of old Berliners, young professionals and creatives from all over the world, many of whom you’ll find in the several small, unique shops snuggly dotted throughout Kreuzberg’s streets and alleyways.

The neighbourhood is generally well known for its friendly, community atmosphere and it is expected that the value of this popular district in Berlin will continue to grow. It is definitely an area of Berlin you don’t want to miss out on!

Getting there

Public transport connections are excellent, with the U1 and U8 running from U-Bahn station Kottbusser Tor directly into the city centre every few minutes. Many larger roads make traveling from one side of town to the other very easy. There are also many bus lines connecting this area to the rest of Berlin.
