Location

The Nymphenburger Straße is a small, quiet street, located directly at Schöneberger Park. It is beautifully preserved with old buildings and is located in the Bavarian Quarter, where a great number of officials and artists used to live, like Albert Einstein, Marlene Dietrich, Billy Wilder and Christopher Isherwood. Also the former German President Joachim Gauck lived here back in the days.

The road leads into the Volkspark Schöneberg (also called Rudolph-Wilde-Park), which can be reached from the apartment within two minutes. The 7-hectare park is a paradise for walkers and joggers alike. On days with good weather, residents can enjoy this space to sunbathe and/or participate in free yoga classes that are held in front of the park. A beer garden, as well as several cafes, are also nearby.

A bridge, which crosses the subway station Rathaus Schöneberg, leads through the park directly to Rathaus - here, John F. Kennedy spoke the famous words "I am a Berliner". Today, exhibitions and cultural events are held in the town hall; weekly markets and popular flea markets take place in front of it. Overall, the connection to public transport is excellent. U- and S-Bahnhof Innsbrucker Platz, as well as the S-Bahn-Ring, are, for example, approximately 4 minutes away. From there, it takes only 2 stops to get to the Südkreuz train station. An average of 35 minutes is needed to get to Tegel airport, whereas to Airport Schönefeld it would take one approximately 36 minutes in total.

The city's three major universities are also only a stone's throw away. The Technical University, for example, is about 17 minutes from the apartment, whereas the Humboldt University campus and the Free University are only 20 minutes away. The famous Potsdamer Platz can be reached in about 15 minutes.

The bus line to Prenzlauer Berg and Berlin Hauptbahnhof takes 20 minutes. Drivers can also quickly get through the city from here: one driveway of the city highway ends at Innsbrucker Platz. The infrastructure around the apartment is also excellent. Only a minute away are a pharmacy and a grocery store. A large discount supermarket is located in the Innsbrucker Platz underground station, another market is also around the corner. Several restaurants are within walking distance. A large radio station, several schools and a branch of the University of Law and Economy and the University of Arts are also nearby. The area is also characterized by a high density of doctors.
