Location

Buckow is a lovely residential district in the south of Berlin’s borough of Neukoelln. Situated between Berlin’s inner city and Brandenburg’s beautiful landscape, this location boasts easy access to either destination.

The apartment is located close to the original village of Alt Buckow which dates back as far as 1230 and boasts a church completed at the end of the 13th century and a traditional village pond which hosts an annual summer festival. The village was incorporated into Neukoelln in 1920.

A ten minute bus ride takes you directly to the Johannisthaler Chaussee U-Bahn station on the U7, which is just five stops from the main U/S-Bahn interchange at Neukoelln. Buckow is conveniently close to Berlin’s Schoenefeld Airport (15 min drive). If the Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt (BER) opens in Schoenefeld, there would be an estimated 50,000 additional new jobs in the surrounding areas, thus increasing the value of this area south of Berlin.
