This vacant well-cut two-bedroom apartment with a loggia in Berlin-Buckow is part of a lovely housing estate built in 1963 consisting of five buildings situated around large green communal gardens with many trees and a play area.
All the rooms of this 64 sqm apartment are accessed directly from the entrance hall, with the second bedroom/study immediately on the left, followed by a good size bathroom with full-size bath, a generous kitchen area, and the main bedroom directly ahead at the end of the hall. To the right is the large main living room which opens out onto the loggia.
With some cosmetic renovation and updating, this formerly tenanted apartment would make a great flat for self-use or as a buy-to-let investment that would produce a healthy rental yield.

Buckow is a lovely residential district in the south of Berlin’s borough of Neukoelln. Situated between Berlin’s inner city and Brandenburg’s beautiful landscape, this location boasts easy access to either destination.
The apartment is located close to the original village of Alt Buckow which dates back as far as 1230 and boasts a church completed at the end of the 13th century and a traditional village pond which hosts an annual summer festival. The village was incorporated into Neukoelln in 1920.
A ten minute bus ride takes you directly to the Johannisthaler Chaussee U-Bahn station on the U7, which is just five stops from the main U/S-Bahn interchange at Neukoelln. Buckow is conveniently close to Berlin’s Schoenefeld Airport (15 min drive). If the Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt (BER) opens in Schoenefeld, there would be an estimated 50,000 additional new jobs in the surrounding areas, thus increasing the value of this area south of Berlin.
