6. Which third-party-connections do exist?
To ensure a comfortable use of our website and for statistical analysis we use several third-party-services. This may result in transmission of data from our website to the provider of the service.
6.1 Google Analytics
On our website, we use Google Analytics (GA). GA is a web analytics service offered by Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google uses cookies and may transmit thereby obtained information to servers in the USA.
Google uses this information in order to analyze the usage of our website. Google will generate reports about user activities on our website and the processed data may be used to make pseudonymized user profiles.
We use GA solely in Anonymize-IP-Mode. This means, your IP-address will be shortened when you visit our website from within the European Union or from another country of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the whole IPaddress will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened afterwards.
Your IP-address will not be combined with other data from Google. You can set your browser to reject cookies in general. By clicking here https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de you can install a browser plugin that prevents being tracked by GA.
Another way to opt-out from getting tracked by GA can be found at the end of this privacy policy. Legal basis of processing your personal data in this context is Art. 6 p. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR (your consent via cookie banner).
As far as personal data is processed in the USA we point out that Google is EU-US Privacy Shield certified (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active) Further information on how Google is processing your personal data can be found here https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized after 26 month.
Additionally we use GA to evaluate data for statistical reasons from Google Ads and the GA Advertising Features. You can deactivate this by clicking here https://adssettings.google.de/
6.2 Google Maps
For the purpose of localizing our property and our headquarter we embed the web mapping service Google Maps. This service is also offered by Google. The use of Google Maps establishes a connection to a Googler Server in the USA.
Personal data processed can be in particular your IP-address and your current location.
Legal basis of processing your personal data in this context is Art. 6 p. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR. A connection to Google Maps won’t be established without your consent.
Further information on how Google is processing your personal data can be found here https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps/ .
6.3 Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager to bundle the data streams on this website. The Tag Manager itself neither collects nor saves any data. It is just transmitting the data to different web analytics tools like GA and Google AdWords.
6.4 Google Ads
We also use the Google Ads remarketing functions, an online advertising platform by Google. Thereby we can show you our properties and services on other websites within the Google Advertising Network. Your interaction on our website is recorded so we can display information about our properties and services you already showed interest in.
Google sets a cookie to identify a user. This cookie is not used to identify you as a person. You can change your cookie settings at the end of this privacy policy. More information on cookies can be found under the title „Cookies“ in this privacy policy.

6.5 YouTube
For an appealing design and an easier understanding of our services we implement videos via YouTube. Legal basis is Art. 6 s. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR. Videos won’t load and your data won’t be processed unless you give your consent.

This allows us to measure the response of Microsoft Advertising campaigns. However, the system does not provide us with any information other than the anonymized number of users who carried out certain target actions on our website.
