2. What personal data do we collect and save?

When you visit our website your browser will automatically send information to us. Personal data is stored temporally in a so called log file. The following data can be
collected and saved until it is automatically erased:

  • IP address,
  • date and time of the website access,
  • name and URL of the requested data,
  • referrering URL,
  • browsertype and version, operating system, access provider.

The data will be processed on basis of the following purposes:

  • ensuring a frictionless connection to our website,
  • ensuring a comfortable use of our website,

  • further administrative purposes.

Legal basis for processing your personal data is Art. 6 p. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is stated in the purposes above. The data will be erased when no longer needed for the original purposes.

3. What happens when you use our contact form?

On this website you can send us requests via different contact forms. To use it you may be required to enter your name, e-mail, phone number and address. This way we can retrace from whom a request is coming and have the possibility to send a proper reply.

Data is processed on legal basis of Art. 6 p.1 s.1 lit. f GDPR. You and we have a legitimate interest to handle your inquiry appropriately.

Data can also be processed on legal basis of Art. 6 p. 1 s. 1 lit. b GDPR as far as the usage of the contact form is necessary for the performance of a contract or to take steps prior to entering a contract. The collected data will be erased after we finished handling your inquiry. Exceptions apply only if you give consent to further processing or other legal obligations are applicable.

We use the Quform Plugin:

The Quform cookie:

  • Is a session cookie (deleted when the browser closes)
  • Stores only a session ID (no personal data is stored in the cookie)
  • Is required for providing security (protection against Cross Site Request Forgery)
  • Is required for proper functioning of the plugin (e.g. verifying that the CAPTCHA solution was correct)

4. What happens when you contact us via e-mail?

When you send us an e-mail we will electronically store your request. We do so to handle your request an in case follow-up-questions may occur. Legal basis is Art. 6 p. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR. We both have a legitimate interest that your request is properly handled. Legal basis can also be Art. 6 p. 1 s.1 lit b (performance of or entering into a contract).

Your e-mail-address will not be transmitted to third parties without your consent. Mails will be deleted after we finished handling your inquiry. Exceptions apply only if you give consent to further processing or other legal obligations are applicable.

5. Cookies?

On this Website we use Cookies. Legal basis is Art. 6 p. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in providing a comfortable use of our Website. In case you gave us your consent (cookie consent banner) legal basis for the processing of data is Art. 6 p. 1 s. a GDPR.

6. Which third-party-connections do exist?

To ensure a comfortable use of our website and for statistical analysis we use several third-party-services. This may result in transmission of data from our website to the provider of the service.

6.1 Google Analytics

On our website, we use Google Analytics (GA). GA is a web analytics service offered by Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google uses cookies and may transmit thereby obtained information to servers in the USA.

Google uses this information in order to analyze the usage of our website. Google will generate reports about user activities on our website and the processed data may be used to make pseudonymized user profiles.
We use GA solely in Anonymize-IP-Mode. This means, your IP-address will be shortened when you visit our website from within the European Union or from another country of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the whole IPaddress will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened afterwards.

Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized after 26 month.

6.2 Google Maps

For the purpose of localizing our property and our headquarter we embed the web mapping service Google Maps. This service is also offered by Google. The use of Google Maps establishes a connection to a Googler Server in the USA.
Personal data processed can be in particular your IP-address and your current location.

Legal basis of processing your personal data in this context is Art. 6 p. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR. A connection to Google Maps won’t be established without your consent.

6.3 Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager to bundle the data streams on this website. The Tag Manager itself neither collects nor saves any data. It is just transmitting the data to different web analytics tools like GA and Google AdWords.

6.4 Google Ads

We also use the Google Ads remarketing functions, an online advertising platform by Google. Thereby we can show you our properties and services on other websites within the Google Advertising Network. Your interaction on our website is recorded so we can display information about our properties and services you already showed interest in.

Google sets a cookie to identify a user. This cookie is not used to identify you as a person. You can change your cookie settings at the end of this privacy policy. More information on cookies can be found under the title „Cookies“ in this privacy policy.

Additionally we implemented Conversion Tracking by Google Ads. In case you click on an ad a cookie will be set to inform us that you clicked our ad. These Cookies expire after 30 days. They do not include any personal data and do not serve to personally identify you.

6.5 YouTube

For an appealing design and an easier understanding of our services we implement videos via YouTube. Legal basis is Art. 6 s. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR. Videos won’t load and your data won’t be processed unless you give your consent.
YouTube is a video platform run by Google. Further information on Google’s data policy can be found under the title „Google Analytics“ in our privacy policy.
We embed YouTube videos only in privacy-enhanced mode. This means YouTube doesn’t use cookies to track viewing behavior.

6.6 Smartlook

We use Hotjar to better understand the needs of our users and to optimize the offering and experience on this website. The transfer of personal data to HubSpot is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in the efficient management of customer enquiries and the improvement of our customer service.

HubSpot is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield to ensure an adequate level of data protection in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using HubSpot, personal data (such as name, email address, telephone number) may be transferred to HubSpot servers in the USA and stored there. We take appropriate measures to ensure that your data is protected when it is transferred to HubSpot.

Facebook Insights is a tool to track user interaction on a Facebook Page. It obtains various categories of data and provides them to the page admins. Those statistics are aggregated and provided by Facebook. We don’t have control about the generation and provision of these reports. Neither can we turn off this tool. Facebook Insights provides us with the following data:

Page visits, likes, page activities, post interactions, reach, video views, post reach, shared content, replies, percentage of male and female fans, origin (country and city), language, clicks on map, clicks on our phone number.
We use this data for an appropriate targeting of our audience and to make our Facebook Page more appealing for potential and existing customers.

Within the framework of our Joint Controllership Facebook Ireland remains solely responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with Page Insights. It will comply with the obligations from the GDPR Facebook (i.a. 8. How long do we save your data?

We save your data only for the aforesaid purposes. As soon as the purpose is redundant and no other statuary storage obligations apply we will delete your personal data.

9. Which rights do you have as a data subject?

  • to erasure („right to be forgotten“) (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • of restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

To the right of access and the right to erasure apply restrictions of §§ 34 and 35 BDSG (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz). Additionally you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR in conjunction with § 19 BDSG). As far as you gave us your consent for a certain kind of data processing you can withdraw your consent at any time.

At any time you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. The
